As the oldest continually played course in Australia, the Ballarat Golf Club has a long and proud history spanning back to 1895.
Moving to our Thomson Perret designed championship course in 2009, the Club provides an outstanding experience for golfers of all levels.
The Ballarat Golf Club has once again been named in the 2021 Golf Australia Top 100 Public Access Courses in Australia. Ballarat Golf Club was ranked number 67. The course was also awarded number 59 in the AusGolf 2022 Course Guide.
The course was built in 2009 by Thomspson Perrett Golf Course Architects on a blank canvas of land. Everything you see was built from scratch with a simple combination of great design & construction. Here is your chance to look over all of the holes before you experience the Ballarat Golf Club.
Private cart use is allowed however, the Club may suspend private or all cart use at any time.
Golfers intending to use their own carts should check that cart use is currently allowed.
Private use carts will only be allowed on the course if the user:
provides evidence that they have a valid and current golflink number (staff will validate using GA online services), or
provides evidence that they have the cart covered for personal liability insurance,
private cart users must abide by all club cart rules at all times, the rules are available at the Pro Shop.
and use will only be allowed after such evidence is provided, and must be provided on each day of play.
