For seven years, we've proudly nurtured the growth and development of young golfers through our Junior Scholarship Program. This initiative aims to empower two juniors within our district, providing them with the chance to enhance their skills and boost their confidence on the course.

Each previous participant has not only refined their technique on the course but has also created cherished memories throughout their journey.

During their time, our scholarship winners embark on a transformative experience. They receive exclusive training sessions at the PGA - Australian Golf Centre at Sandy Golf Links, delving into the complexity of their technique and swing. Additionally, they benefit from a term of Golf Training with the Ballarat Golf Club Junior Development Program, along with a membership to BGC inclusive of a $50 house levy. Furthermore, a 12-month range ball membership allows them ample opportunity for practice and improvement.

Halfway through their experience, we treat our scholarship winners to a special outing at the VicOpen, offering an unparalleled "inside the ropes" experience where they engage in marshalling duties and have the chance to meet professional golfers.

After all of this experience, Travis from Tatt Golf, will take our winners out for a 2 hour playing lesson and then it’s Competition Round with the Tatt Golf Team of Ange & Travis (Girls vs Boys) -Who will WIN?
