An added benefit of being a ballarat golf club member

All over Australia the Ballarat Golf Club has established a sister club arrangement with club to allow our members to experience other course.

The list below contain the clubs that we have agreements with to allow you to play on their course. These agreements differ from club to club and can be confirmed when contacting the club.

As a guide most clubs offer 50% green fees when you visit. Be sure to plan ahead and contact the club to arrange your tee time.

Reciprocal Agreement

  1. Reciprocal Members are entitled to a maximum of 6 games per calendar year on Reciprocal Club Competitions Days by paying the competition fee applicable on the day of play but will be exempt from paying Green Fees.
  2. Events conducted by either club that are classed as Open to all golfers upon payment of an entry fee only will not count in the 6 games.
  3. If a reciprocal member wished to play more than 6 games, additional rounds will attract a Green Fee discounted to 50% of advertised rate and that rate will also apply to any social or practise rounds.
  4. A reciprocal member will be required upon request to provide proof of their current financial membership, residential address and handicap details (ie: Golf Link ID Card)
  5. A reciprocal member shall be entitled to use all Clubhouse facilities, play i Open competitions and win a trophy, but may not win a Monthly Medal or Closed Competition or enter Club Championships or Honour Board Events. Note: Wednesday (Women) and Saturday (Men) are closed competitions at Geraldton with prizes for members of Geraldton Golf Club only. Visitors may win a novelty (eg Nearest the Pin) or a golf ball fora good score.
  6. A reciprocal member may introduce a visitor subject to the application of the same rules and fees that apply to all playing members of the club.
  7. Reciprocal members are subject to the Rules, By-Laws and Policies of the Reciprocal Golf Club
