The Ballarat Golf Club celebrated its 125th year on Sunday 11th April 2021. This is the clubs 126 year but due to Covid in 2020 the celebrations were postponed.
2020 president Wayne Hines & current president Lesa Gray unveiled the plaque to commemorate the occasion that will be placed on the 1st hole.
After a game of golf in the afternoon, a dinner followed with club historian Phil Roberts and Heather Brauman sharing highlights from the past 125 years.
This is a huge accomplishment for our club that currently holds the title as the oldest club in Australia continuing to play on its original land.
