Head Professional Announcement

The Board of Ballarat Golf Club are delighted to announce the appointment of Angela (Ange) Tatt to the position of Head Professional commencing Monday April 3. The Board formed a sub-committee following the resignation of David Wallis and undertook a detailed process of analysing options and making a decision.

The Board was most impressed with Ange’s submission which included her deep understanding of business and golf. Ange has a long and distinguished history in the game, recently representing Australia and playing in the Australian Open. Ange is highly respected in the golfing industry and by the members of the Ballarat Golf Club.

Ange has been at the Club for the past 7 years and has proven to be a wonderful asset not only to David Wallis but the Ballarat Golf Club. Ange has developed the women’s golf clinics and made substantial contribution to Golf and Vision 2025 Committee’s. During the process and meetings with Ange the outstanding feature was her desire for the Club to succeed. Golf has been part of her life from a young age given that the family has grown up on a golf course and is well known within the golfing community.

We are excited that Ange will be our first female Head Professional which is a history making appointment for the Club.

Shortly the Club will be finalising an official function to recognise the wonderful contribution of David Wallis over the past 12 years with the last 9 as Head Professional and members will be advised.

Congratulations to Ange on the 5-year appointment which we look forward to working with the Tatt Golf Team and wish them a most successful tenure.
