The course has been inspected following the further heavy overnight rains and as a result the course and all external practice facilities remain closed until further notice.
Some concern has been raised as to the operation of the course drainage and members can be assured that it is operating correctly and as designed. It is simply the volume of rainfall over the last few days (over 100mm) combined with already waterlogged runoff areas that are causing the problems on course.
