Congratulation to Matt Webb the winner of the 2016 PGA National Futures Championship.
With the final day being cancelled due to extreme weather conditions, the event was taken back to a 54 hole event with overnight leader Matt Webb from England winning the title by 4 shots. Matt shot 74, 71 and 76 to take out the richest trainee event in the world.
The club thanked all of the players and sponsors who supported the event and then passed on huge appreciation to all the member who were involved throughout the week with the running of the event. Another big thanks to our green staff who have continued to create miracles in getting the course to its amazing conditions after all of the weather they have had to deal with.
The event will return to the Ballarat Golf Club agian in October 2017.
