The 2018 BDG Womens Pennant Finals were played on Monday 21st May 2018 at Buninyong Golf Club.
Two of our teams were represented in the finals with our Div 1 ladies going down to Midlands GC 3/2.
Our Division 2 ladies were successful in taking the 2018 tiltle by defeating Beaufort GC 3/2. Below are the details
Division 1: Ballarat v Midlands Gold.
Vicki Waldron, Liz Molesworth, Jill Heinz, Kay Johnston & Maryanne Carr.
Midlands Gold won, 3 to 2 but it took some very close games to decide the overall result.
Division 2: Beaufort v Ballarat Red.
Vicky Wilson, Pauline Murphy, Lesa Gray, Sue Howie & Jan Livingston.
Ballarat Red won, 3 to 2.
At 2 each this result was decided by another close game where Pauline Murphy, in deteriorating weather, played the 10th hole again and won.
Congratulations and well done to our Division 2 players for bringing home the shield to Ballarat!
